Scottish IVAs

A Trust Deed is the Scottish equivalent of a UK IVA. You can opt to speak to one of our specialists and they will help you make a list of your creditors. He or she will assist you in making this list so you will be able to see exactly how much you owe and to whom.
A Trust Deed has certain advantages. For example you won’t be pestered by phone calls from your creditors and all correspondence is handled by a trustee. A Trust Deed costs less than it’s alternative which is Sequestration. Furthermore, creditors are not allowed to add further charges or take legal action against you.
Directors of companies and people that are self-employed can get on with their business as usual. After a period of three years, the remainder of the debt is written off.
